Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

Kensington and Chelsea Council is expanding its programme of monitoring by installing nodes by the playgrounds of some schools and nurseries in the borough. The Council wants to raise awareness about air pollution and enable us all to have a better understanding of what concentrations pupils and staff are exposed to whilst outside within the school grounds. The sensors will also help the Council select measures to improve local air quality and reduce exposure to these pollutants.
